Alaska To You is an Alaskan based Non-Profit Organization that assists children in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines with educational supplies, food and clothing. Alaska To You knows that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 2019, we have been determined to make an impact. The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion to the table and assist as many children in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines as we can. Through all of our endeavors and your support we hope to make a positive impact in the lives of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines children.
ALASKA TO YOU FOUNDERS
Meet Samantha Kramer and Kelvin Joseph. Samantha was born and raised in Copper Center, Alaska. She lived, worked and traveled around the Caribbean for 8 years. During her travels she was a part of many different cultures and lifestyles. Experiencing this opened her eyes to many things. Throughout her life her heart has always leaned towards helping others and what a better way to do so by creating a group that works closely with those in need.
During Samantha's journey down in the Caribbean she met the love of her life Kel Joseph. She lived and worked in the British Virgin Islands for quite a few years and now resides back in her hometown in Alaska with her husband Kel and they both travel back to Saint Vincent every year.
Kel was born and raised in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and moved to Tortola, British Virgin Islands as a young adult. Kel grew up in a small village called Lowman's Windward. Kelvin's Mother worked very hard for her ten children and showed them the love they needed to become wonderful adults.
Kelvin has a very close connection to the country he grew up in and they both want to give back. There are many lovely children that could use a helping hand and they intend to do that!
Our mission statement says, "Striving to enhance the future for the children of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines" and we intend to do exactly this.
